Welcome to the official Shiv Kumar, professionally known as Shiv Chhahar, is an independent songwriter based in Brisbane, Queensland. Originally from India, he moved to Australia in 2022 and has continued to pursue his passion for writing music alongside his career as a carpenter.

For Shiv, songwriting is a way to express thoughts and emotions that are often difficult to put into conversation. His lyrics are inspired by real life, relationships, memories, and the experiences that shape who we become. He enjoys writing songs that feel honest and relatable, allowing listeners to find a part of themselves in every story.

Away from music, Shiv enjoys spending time with his close friends and family. He is deeply in love and grateful to share his life with an incredible woman who has made his world brighter in ways words can never fully describe. In her, he found a love that feels like home, a heart that brings him peace, and a happiness that makes even the ordinary moments feel extraordinary. Their journey together is one he treasures every day, and he feels incredibly fortunate to have found the person he wants to walk through life with.
